I am an actual Marine Scientist creating marine biology content in a digestible format for kids.
While living in the Philippines, I started a 501c3 non profit to teach tribal kids literacy, numeracy, and coral reef ecology. Mermaids are a fun way to teach kids about the ocean and its creatures. Both mermaids and marine biology make science feel more accessible for girls.
